COURSES
Class Attendance/Rescheduling/Cancellation
Program classes
begin and end promptly at the stated dates and times. The State of Illinois mandates the amount of
time spent in the classroom, and the Program will rigorously enforce those requirements.
Late
arrivals, extended breaks, or early departures could result in your being
denied the pre‑license completion certificate required by the State of
Illinois.
A $50 fee
will be required for all courses that are rescheduled due to late arrivals,
extended breaks, early departure, or cancelled without one week’s notice.
During any
Program course, and at the instructor’s discretion, if your conduct is
disruptive or inappropriate, the instructor may ask you to leave and cancel
your course without a refund.
The Program’s
policy is to offer your choice of either a full refund for the cost of the class
or placement in a different class date in the event of a class cancellation by the
Program due to circumstances beyond the Program’s control (i.e., emergency
conditions, severe weather, unavailability of the classroom, etc.). When a decision is made to cancel a class,
you will be notified as soon as possible.
If you fail to attend any class which is held as scheduled, you will not
be entitled to a refund. However, the
Program will allow a transfer to a different class date and location.
Testing Time Frame
You must take
the license exam within one (1) year of the attended pre-licensing class
date. If you do not sit for exam within
this time frame, the pre-licensing class must be purchased and taken
again.
If you fail
to pass the State license exam within said one (1) year period, you may repeat
the class one (1) time at no additional charge by providing proof of test
failure. Proof must be provided within ninety
(90) days of the class date, and you are required to schedule the repeat class
in advance. Notwithstanding the foregoing,
to be eligible for your free class repeat it must be completed prior to the one
(1) year anniversary of your first class attendance.
